If you're in town for the weekend, just moved to the area, or a resident who is interested in joining us please do!
Weekend Masses are on Saturdays at 5:15 PM and Sundays at 8:15 AM. Mass generally lasts around an hour. Occasionally there are special events following mass that include refreshments. These items are on the calendar and are usually free will offering for anyone who wants to contribute.
Our regular youth program is called Faith Formation. Grades Kindergarten through 12th meet each Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Church Hall, which is the walkout basement of the church. They begin in late August and finish up at Easter.
Our music is a combination of traditional hymns (think Amazing Grace, On Eagles Wings) to newer hymns when the youth choir sings. We are also blessed with parishioners and a pastor who have musical talents!
If you're concerned about what to wear...no need. We have people from all walks of life who attend our Masses. Traditional attire such as dresses, slacks, and ties are not required! You can wear if you wish as we have some who do, but others also come directly from work. It isn't unusual to see a farmer in bib overalls or a uniformed Iowa State Patrolman in attendance. Most people who come wear nice jeans with a polo or dressier shirt.
